I'm reassembling a Hitachi S4500 scanning electron microscope, but numerous detectors and accessories have been detached from it. Replacing them correctly demands extensive cleaning, exposure to high temperatures, and replacement of wear-and-tear seals each time, which I am not prepared to undertake immediately. In addition, I need to confirm that I possess all the necessary components and have accounted for all connections, but I do not wish to partially install the actual parts just yet, in case it harms the gaskets or O-rings. Consequently, these pieces are being utilized as place holders so that each piece of equipment can be allocated correctly and all essential consumables ordered for the final assembly process.
