This is a remix of mmOne's most excellent Ergonomic Hacksaw Handle. I loved the look of this handle at first sight. Now that I have a working part in my hands, I can report that it feels great to my hand. And I do appreciate the work he did to make this design from a single print without supports. However, I did see the problems of making the slot too tight or too loose. If it's tight, with the teeth biting on insertion, it won't go in. If it's loose, it would rattle around and that could be annoying. I suppose one could remix the original with dimensions for a particular blade and make that work alright. Maybe even cut a short piece of blade to press in the slot to loosen up only the tooth area. This lovely design was begging to be split down the middle and attached with screws. The slots and holes are for M3 x 8mm long flat head screws with hex nuts. I also modified the slot for a better fit for the blades that I have on hand (Dewalt Bi-Metal 12"). I've included the .stl files for ready printing as well as the Fusion 360 and a Step model.
