This part was created by [Erik Schwartz](https://www.instagram.com/erikschwartz23/) as a functional part to improve the performance of their racing vehicles. Erik Schwartz has partnered with UltiMaker to help demonstrate the power of 3D printing and we are sharing the part so that our users can experience them as well! The sample print shown in the images was printed using [UltiMaker PET CF.](https://ultimaker.com/materials/s-series-pet-carbon-fiber/) Racing regulations require a rear cut-off switch for safety personnel to turn off in case of an emergency. This bracket was used by Erik Schwartz to mockup a sheet metal equivalent. It was also used as an interim part while waiting for the sheet metal version to arrive. Showing how 3D printed parts can serve both as a prototyping tool and for creating end-use parts.
