Hi, This is a box for a li-ion 18650 and an ESP8266. You can leave the 8 pin header on the board. There is a switch on the box and a 3.5mm stereo jack for in/output. there is a charge input for the 18650. Bat + goes to the anode side of the diode. all other + go to the VCC pin of ESP. I use this for a DS18B20 to measure temperatures and log them to Domoticz the software in the ESP is ESPEasy. https://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/index.php/ESPEasy switch: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/50x-3-Pin-2-Position-MINI-Size-SPDT-Slide-Switches-On-Off-PCB-24VDC-1-5A-Switch-/123180318387?hash=item1cae1e7eb3 li-ion charger: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/2x-TP4056-1A-5V-Li-ion-Battery-Charger-Module-USB-Board-Electronic-Component-US/311904046261?hash=item489eee0cb5:g:mN0AAOSwXetZULnt no info on the 3.5mm jack but it was a in-line female.
