ESP8266 IoT Traffic Light

ESP8266 IoT Traffic Light

thingiverse

**Introduction:** This is a tiny hackable/programmable traffic light. You can write code for it with Arduino for the EPS8266 (in this case a [Wemo D1 mini](https://wiki.wemos.cc/products:d1:d1_mini) -- checkout their page for instructions). **3D Print:** To assemble the traffic light you need to 3d print the following files: - traffic-light-v2-top-**fix1**.stl - wifi-traffic-light-v2-bot.stl **PCBs:** The easiest way is to assemble the hardware is with the following boards (you can order them via the links below): - [Sensor Board](https://aisler.net/uvwxy/iot-traffic-light/sensor-board) - [LED Board](https://aisler.net/uvwxy/iot-traffic-light/led-board) - [LEDs](https://aisler.net/uvwxy/iot-traffic-light/leds) (you can substitute this with a five LED segment cut from a 140LED/m WS2812B led strip, and solder 20cm cables, see manual below) **Parts:** - Wemos D1mini - Bosch BME280 (optional) **Assembly:** The assembly instructions can be found here: [https://pauls-3d-things.github.io/iot-traffic-light](https://pauls-3d-things.github.io/iot-traffic-light) **Coding:** An example to code the traffic light can be found here: [https://github.com/pauls-3d-things/iot-traffic-light/blob/master/traffic-light-demo/traffic-light-demo.ino](https://github.com/pauls-3d-things/iot-traffic-light/blob/master/traffic-light-demo/traffic-light-demo.ino)
