Too cheap to buy an espresso tamp, I bought a MakerBot and printed one instead. Designed in SketchUp and then scaled slightly as an STL. The base is ~49mm at it's widest and ~72mm tall. Instructions I've only printed it once (fourth print off my ToM!) but if I do it again, I would go raftless; left over raft bits/features are a slight nuisance.
