Etruscan mirror, c. 3rd century, with the obverse (reflecting) side convex and originally highly polished; the handle in the form of an extended horse; the reverse engraved with the two Dioscuri (Kastor and Polydeukes) stepping towards each other, wearing boots, tunics, and Phrygian caps.
