Eurocopter EC-120B Helicopter Main Rotor System

(V.1) Eurocopter EC-120B animated model designed to illustrate the construction and function of the aircraft’s main rotor system. (Hint: Lower the playback speed to more easily follow) An attached document contains instruction on what is being shown throughout the animation. It can be used in conjuction with certified training guides to provide an intuitive, interactive learning experience where each part can be inspected. The model has be developed from a background with a PPL(H), a family business in helicopter instruction, and maintainance experience on this and several other aircraft. Working in conjuction with an instructor this project aims to aid in learning where 2D diagrams can’t. Future updates involve getting the model to a fully ‘game ready’ state, as well as creating more of the aircraft, and other helicopters as required.
