It also works as a nice topological puzzle of Europe. This is the first version and I plan to make more updates on the game rules as well as the design in the future. The game mechanics are loosely based on a game by Osprey Games called King is Dead which was also the main inspiration for my game.

Game Overview

Europe is Dead? is a game of political upheaval in modern day Europe. Over the course of the game, you will resolve elections in 37 countries in Europe in order to determine which party will prevail and form the new government. Become the preferred candidate of the victorious party and the continent of Europe will be yours!

During the game, you will play action cards to manipulate the balance of power across the board. You will have only 12 cards throughout the entire game, so choosing when to make your play and when to sit tight will be the key to your victory. Act too soon and your opponents will unravel your carefully made plans, but wait too long and the fate of the continent will already be sealed.

Whenever you take an action you will gather a politician to your side, increasing your influence with one of the parties. Each politician you take will solidify your claim to be that party's preferred leader, but will weaken that party's ability to win elections.

Once each country has elected their government, the party with the most countries takes control of Europe, and the player with the most politicians in that party wins.

Check out the full rules of the game in the attached pdf.

Printing Instructions

I use SuperSlicer for my prints, and I would recommend it for this build since it is based on PrusaSlicer but it comes with extra settings. Country models need to be printed with an Outer XY compensation of at least -0.3mm (I recommend -0.4mm) so that country models would fit to each other. Seas (or the background) need to be printed with Inner XY compensation of -0.3mm. I would also recommend that you print with a variable layer height, so that the base of each county would be at 0.2mm and the topographical part with 0.1mm for detail.

Country tags should be printed with a layer change in order to have the text easily readable.

Small balls that represent politicians are composed of two hemispheres and a thread that binds them. You want to play a with the XY compensation so that the thread can fit tightly so that the ball does not fall apart. Do the same for the star markers with one half being the hemisphere and the other the start piece.

I would recommend printing bordering countries with different colors for clarity.

I have also attached a pdf with cards necessary for the board game. Print these on a thick shiny paper at you local print shop and you will be good to go.

You will need:

Countries: 37 European + Russia + 5 African + Middle East and Georgia (one of each)

Country Tags: 37 (one of each)

Ocean and Seas: 17 pieces (one of each)

Star marker: x20 of each color (3 colors)

Ball markers (politicians): x50 of each color (3 colors)

Thanks a lot for checking out my design and I hope you have fun printing it and playing it with your friends :)
