Eurorack 3D Printed Knob

Eurorack 3D Printed Knob

thingiverse

Originally designed for the attendees of the monthly DIY ModSynth workshop in Perth West Australia (WAMod). It pressure fits over multiple different types of pot, toothed or smooth shaft, with tight tolerances. You will need to experiment with your pots and printer. Ive noticed that the tolerances are so tight that by printing in white, for example, prints a knob that is too big for a pot that is perfectly OK with the same .stl file printing in black... Go figure. One of best things about this design is that it has a raised pointer on its top so the pot can easily be turned with just one finger. Really important when you cant get both your finger AND thumb through the mess of patch cables. Handy. The x49 .stl file has 49 knobs packed together that prints successfully on my 3DUP Mini in 4-10 hours depending on resolution. Again this design is a result of many hours of tweaking and refinement, it is offered for you to use for free, please be kind and remember its not for resale or redistribution.
