<p><strong>Update 10-02-2022:</strong> Andi3D made also the Cartesian version that can be used on the Minion.<br><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/131960-eva-backplate-cartesian-for-pabst-ebm-fan">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/131960-eva-backplate-cartesian-for-pabst-ebm-fan</a></p><p><strong>Update 07-02-2022:</strong> Modified the inserts a bit as these where for 5mm inserts.<br>Added a version wit 4mm holes for the 4.6mm inserts.</p><p><strong>Update 06-02-2022</strong>: After printing the final version i noticed a thin wall.<br>So please check sliced preview and if needed turn on Thin wall detection!<br>STL &amp; Step files have the fix for that thin wall.</p><p>Since i was running on my Vcore 3 various fan setups but i wasn't happy with all of them i wanted some powerfull fan that is not introducing resonances / vibration.<br><br>Setups before where Dual GDSTime 5015 but these fans resonate / vibrate like crazy and the Sunon 7530 what worked very well but was extreme bulky and added quite a bit of weight to the EVA.<br><br>For that i switched to the PAPST EBM as this has a good volume flow and high backpressure.<br>Test shown that the cooling was better then the Sunon 7530 and thus for me the reason to create this.<br>Exact model: <a href="https://www.ebmpapst.com/de/en/products/centrifugal-fans/p/RLF35814N.html">https://www.ebmpapst.com/de/en/products/centrifugal-fans/p/RLF35814N.html</a></p><p><br>This design is the work of 3 people together as during the process great feedback came and they assisted to change the designs.<br>So many thanks to 3D_Genosse and Andi3D aka Tiga for their help, design and assistance.<br><br>Printing instructions:<br>PETG/ABS/ASA 30% Gyroid, 4 walls / top / bottom</p><p>No supports required just lat the part flat on it's back.</p><p><br>Best to use the EVA 2.4 fan ducts as they fit on this design (Monster duct doesnt fit)</p><p>Many thanks to the whole team of EVA for their initial designs.</p><p><br>Any questions? you can find me on discord: @pinky#1302 or telegram: <a href="https://t.me/Druckerplausch">https://t.me/Druckerplausch</a> (German Telegram group)</p>
