EVA2.3 carriage for Ender 3 / 3V2 / Clones with linear rail

This is a remix of three parts to fit the EVA2 carriage (for different extruders and hotends) to an Ender 3, Ender 3V2 or Ender clone with x-axis linear rail installed in front of the 20x20 extrusion profile. Standard EVA2.3.0 only works with core-xy, idex (e.g. rat rig) or cartesian printers (e.g. Ender 5) with linear rails mounted on top the extrusion profile, see https://github.com/EVA-3D/eva-main or https://main.eva-3d.page/ or https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4326652/files This is more of a demonstrator and test for my hotend and extruder parts but works really well. You will need: --------- - These four parts - Other EVA parts except the universal_face, back and endstop from https://github.com/EVA-3D/eva-main or https://main.eva-3d.page/ If not already installed: -------- - Linear rail (300mm) MGN12C (15mm x 20mm) or MGN12H (20mm x 20mm) - A 5015 radial fan - A hotend and extruder supported by EVA. I use an orbiter v1.5 extruder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4725897) and slice mosquito magnum hotend. I did not test any others, it should work for most of them, just tell me in the comments, if not. There is also a mount for the MK8 hotend: https://contrib.eva-3d.page/hotends/microswiss-mk8/ You need to have a look at: ---------- - The belt orientation: the belt is connected from above, not from below as usual, so you need to reverse the motor rotation. Easiest way is to plug the connector on the mainboard for the x axis the other way round or change the cables within the connector. You can do it also by software but you need to know what you are doing (see https://drucktipps3d.de/quickie-motorrichtung-aendern/). - The x endstop switch: the endstop has to be raised 6-8mm so it is just in front of the linear rail. You can use 4x M3 threaded standoffs. - The cabling: route the cables above the rail to the cable holder, so you don't lose printing area or risk damaging the wires. You can use the square holes in the face plate for zip ties. - The printing area: depending on your printer and cabling you could lose up to 5mm on each side, but you can file or grind the z-axis plates a little bit where the fan duct touches.
