Name: Red Mangrove LowPoly Scientific: Rhizophora mangle About this Package: This package contains an extended and extensive series of staged models representing the entire lifecycle of a single plant. It includes staged models for maturity and health. There are a total of 24 models. This same species can also be founded in 12 seperate variations containing a subset of these staging models (and may also contain some additional model variations); look for them in the EVERYPlant store. The exact plant variation in this extended package is unique and cannot be found in any of the other package. Please note: this is the LowPoly version of this plant, a HighPoly version is also available. Habitat: This plant thrives on coastlines in brackish water and in swampy salt-marshes in tropical and sub-tropical climates. Range: Found in estuarine ecosystems throughout the tropics. Widespread throughout the Americas, Caribbean, Africa, Oceania, Australia, and other places. Notes: Probably the best known mangrove tree, this plant is characterised by its stilt roots giving it the well-known mangrove appearance. Its seeds fully develop on the plant before dropping and surviving up to a year in salt-water, hence it's ability to colonise new territories.
