Name: Seashore Palm Scientific: Allagoptera arenaria This Variation: 2 of 20 Habitat: Grows in sandy soils, particularly beach-side, in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Range: Endemic to the east side of Brazil, it has since spread to many tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Notes: A small palm often found in sandy dunes along tropical and sub-tropical beaches. It has a subterranean trunk rarely seen above ground. Fossil records show this is a very old plant, probably predating all other palms. Included in this Package: 9 models in total Standard -- 292,310 polygons -- 1.15m tall. Fully mature and fruiting. It is in relative health, showing some diseased and yellowing foliage as is normal. Useable in most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 279,027 polygons -- 1.15m tall. Showing an increased level of foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken fronds. Unhealthy -- 193,337 polygons -- 98.5cm tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dead -- 18,667 polygons -- 65.73cm tall. Showing only bare and broken fronds and dead foliage. Young -- 274,669 polygons -- 95.48cm tall. Smaller plant some half way through it's maturing cycle. Immature -- 222,827 polygons -- 60.76cm tall. Plant hasn't reached its mature aspect. It is without fruit. No Fruit -- 280,525 polygons -- 1.15m tall. Same as the standard model except fruit has not been generated. Useful in mid to distant renders where finer details are not needed, saving on poly count. No Dead Fronds -- 262,730 polygons -- 1.15m tall. All dead fronds are missing as you would expect for a tree in a curated situation, such as on a beachside resort. Simplified -- 250,945 polygons -- 1.15m tall. All the finer detail such as fruit and dead fronds have not been generated. A simplified plant with lower poly count best used for distant renders. LowPoly variations available upon request. Re-meshing available upon request, eg adaptive mesh, uniform mesh, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease, etc. No charge to existing customers of the product.
