Name: Seashore Palm Scientific: Allagoptera arenaria This Variation: 11 of 20 Habitat: Grows in sandy soils, particularly beach-side, in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Range: Endemic to the east side of Brazil, it has since spread to many tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Notes: A small palm often found in sandy dunes along tropical and sub-tropical beaches. It has a subterranean trunk rarely seen above ground. Fossil records show this is a very old plant, probably predating all other palms. Included in this Package: 9 models in total Standard -- 323,149 polygons -- 1.69m tall. Fully mature and fruiting. It is in relative health, showing some diseased and yellowing foliage as is normal. Useable in most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 288,260 polygons -- 1.53m tall. Showing an increased level of foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken fronds. Unhealthy -- 187,686 polygons -- 1.82m tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dead -- 18,244 polygons -- 95.06cm tall. Showing only bare and broken fronds and dead foliage. Young -- 287,685 polygons -- 1.17m tall. Smaller plant some half way through it's maturing cycle. Immature -- 231,475 polygons -- 76.34cm tall. Plant hasn't reached its mature aspect. It is without fruit. No Fruit -- 307,502 polygons -- 1.69m tall. Same as the standard model except fruit has not been generated. Useful in mid to distant renders where finer details are not needed, saving on poly count. No Dead Fronds -- 305,713 polygons -- 1.69m tall. All dead fronds are missing as you would expect for a tree in a curated situation, such as on a beachside resort. Simplified -- 290,066 polygons -- 1.69m tall. All the finer detail such as fruit and dead fronds have not been generated. A simplified plant with lower poly count best used for distant renders. LowPoly variations available upon request.
