Evolve Truck Mounted Tail Light Bracket

Evolve Truck Mounted Tail Light Bracket

I bought these super cheap bike lights for my Evolve which notoriously turn themselves off with a simple bump but had modified them to resist shock and now work well. So now I needed a better way to mount them without the rubber arms which could be cut if you hit a rock or edge on something, so after a number of iterations I finally came with with this design. I tried to do it without support but then had no choice with the number of overhangs and piece sticking out everywhere but I ended up placing it curved part facing down. It was pretty hard to measure up the design so it's a little snug and may push a little but with my cable tied bit (or use a screw/locknut) it holds without anything else. I highly recommend putting tape on the insides where it presses up on the trucks as plastic is abrasive and could scratch it over time. The bottom has no plastic as to prevent the light flying off if you hit the truck on concrete you shouldn't lose the light. the part needs to be mirrored in the slicer to do the other side and once printed, can slip on from the front side and then slide to the center (while holding the motor cable out of the way.
