This is a newer version of my hub adapter for Excelvan spools, specifically designed for use with the BobsCNC RP9 printer. The original can be found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1698289. I was unhappy with the visual imperfections caused by its creation in Tinkercad, resulting in a lower poly count. This model was created using 123D Design as an exercise in mastering advanced CAD tools. While I doubt there is any benefit to printing this over my original, it might be more visually appealing. Print Settings: Printer: BobsCNC RP9 v2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: I use a raft because it makes removing the adapter from the bed easier. Each user has their own preference. This is an easy print that most printers should be able to handle with ease. No supports are necessary. I've printed in PLA, and it's flexible enough to switch between spools but ABS would likely be more durable.
