This is a newer version of my hub adapter for Excelvan spools for use with the BobsCNC RP9 printer. The original can be found here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1698289 I was dissatisfied with the visual artifacts caused by the fact that I created it with Tinkercad and, hence, the object had a lower poly count. This model was created with 123D Design as an exercise in using a more advanced CAD tool. I doubt there is any benefit in printing this over my original but it might be prettier! Print Settings Printer: BobsCNC RP9 v2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: I use a raft just because it makes removing the adapter from the bed a bit easier. To each their own. This is an easy print that nearly any printer should have no problems with. No supports are needed. I've printed in PLA and it is flexible enough to move from one spool to the next but I'm sure that ABS would be more resilient.
