An expedient powered air purifying respirator. Filtration is accomplished with a DCF-4 vacuum cleaner filter which is convenient to use for this purpose due to the fact it's circular and comes with a sealing O-ring. All parts are designed to be printed without support. BOM: 1 x sparkfun blower 1 x DCF-4 vacuum HEPA filter 3 x 8-32 2" screws 1 x Ikea ordning 7 1/8 " 1 x tubing, I'm not sure of the exact size here, but I think the tubing I have is 22 mm tubing intended for respiratory equipment 1 x lithium ion car starter/powerbank with 12 volt output 1 x Female DC barrel jack 2.1x5.5 mm, or whatever connectors you need to attach to the powerbank 12 volt output 1 x snorkel mask with a circular tube output, for an extra expedient mask, a plastic bag of appropriate clarity may work. Sealant of some sort, I do not recommend using silicone sealant unless it is medical grade or low outgasing. Most regular silicone sealant emits acetic acid as it cures which is a respiratory irritant. Hot glue might work. 1 x back pack. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. May not provide adequate protection against COVID-19 More details to follow
