<p>This is a belted variant of the jonas kuehling's greg wade extruder. for Buddaschnozzle. It uses the Lulzbot Taz 3 Extruder as a base. It is designed to fit the extruder latch and idler tube filliament guide, however neither of those sections are my design and are included for conveniance only.</p> <p>Updated tensioner and main body to reinforce the motor mount. i was getting too much flex.</p> <h3> Instructions</h3> <p>Print all the parts, then remove the support components.You will also need:<br/> 1 65T plastic (carbide) GT2 pulley w/8mm bore, flanges, set-screw<br/> 36T aluminum GT2 pulley w/5mm bore, flanges, set-screw<br/> GT2 belt, 2mm pitch, 200T, 400mm length, 6mm-with, fiberglass-reinforced, closed-loop (Gates GT2 2mr-88-5 or 2mr-88-3 or equivelent)<br/> 1 Hobbed Bolt and<br/> 3 hobbed bolt washers<br/> 1 or two hobbed bolt nuts<br/> 3 608 bearings<br/> 2x M4 x 55 cap screws<br/> 2x tension springs suitable for use in a standard wades extruder<br/> 1x M8 idler bearing shaft (standard wade extruder length)<br/> 4x M3 SHCS for stepper mount<br/> 4x M34 washers for either side of springs<br/> Hot end mounting bolts<br/> 1 M3 x 12 cap screw<br/> 1 M3 heat set plastic insert for tensioner<br/> 1 M3 thumb screw cap for M3 cap screw</p> <p>Assemble as usual for a standard wade extruder. Tensioner goes in back of the motor mount plate, between the motor and the main bracket. Once tension is established, fully tighten motor bolts to lock it in place.</p>
