Experimental part, use at own risk

Printing the boxes from LuckyResistor using a 0.8mm nozzle I noticed a wavy pattern in de side walls. The thickness variations were bad enough I could feel it. Fast forward half a year I stumbled on the video of MihaiDesigns. I re-created** the idler door with a 2.5 degree angle. Printed it with PETG and tried it. The woodgrain was gone in MihaiDesigns' test print.

** Using extruder-idler.stp from https://github.com/prusa3d/Original-Prusa-i3/tree/MK3S/Printed-Parts/STEP

The wavy pattern in the box walls was completely solved as well. The green box in the image was printed using the factory idler door, the blue one on the bottom with this angled version.

Please note: This part has been tested for 50+ hours using PLA and PETG. I haven't run into any problems nor did I notice any wear on the gears. But be warned! This part could damage you printer and extruder gears. Use at own risk.

Before downloading check out these videos about the topic:

MihaiDesigns, What I've learned about dual gear extruders and how to patch them, maybe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32dTLRNIYmw

Vector 3D, Are Clone Extruders Ruining Your 3D Prints?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdnetofLO_U

Please share your findings in the comments.

Update 2022-03-17: Added idler door for 623 bearing (3 x 10 x 4). Works to remedy the woodgrain pattern but requires a small bearing.
