A handy tool to level expresso before tamping, fully parameterized, currently this is sized for a 58mm portafilter, adjust filter diameter to match. The blades are made using a bezier curve from this tutorial: https://openhome.cc/eGossip/OpenSCAD/BezierCurve.html The threads are using this library: http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/ (included) The latest version allows for both the OCD style bladed design or a simple wedge. I found that the wedge is better since it does not cause any pre-tamping in the middle and less retention of grounds (remember to sand until smooth). This version also has a threaded based and two top sections that act like a lock nut and provide fast depth adjustment. I printed the wedge at 0.07 layer height to get them as smooth as possible to reduce the need for sanding. This is probably my final design and works perfectly. The design is fully parametric. The filter diameter and the depth are the two main adjustments.
