This custom-made fidget spinner features a precisely designed bearing system, utilizing a 608 bearing (grease thoroughly removed) with dimensions of 22mm by 7mm and complemented by 10mm ball bearings. To prepare the bearing for installation, carefully remove the retaining rings and submerge it in acetone or a similar solvent to degrease. Following this process, thoroughly wash and dry the bearing before reinstalling the retaining rings. To insert the bearing into the central ring of the fidget spinner, gently lean into the bearing on a stable table until it is securely seated. Once the bearing is partially inserted, turn the spinner over and use a gentle push to guide it further onto the bearing, making the process more manageable for your hands. For ball bearings, you can either tap them in place with a hammer or press them firmly using a vice. I aimed to leave 1.5mm of the bearing exposed on both sides of the spinner but ultimately decided to flush one side so that it could spin smoothly on a flat surface when placed on top of the cap.
