IMPORTANT: WEAR SAFETY GLASSES/GOGGLES WHEN CHANGING MAG BASES. A replacement magazine base for the 10 round CZ 75 magazine. It does not increase the capacity of the magazine. It does not change the function of the magazine, it only makes it easier to grip. I completed this design in July 2017 and as far as I can tell this was the first design of an extended magazine base for the factory 10 round CZ 75 magazine. *** By request, now with grip on the front edge and numbers on the base. These changes are untested, let me know if there are issues.*** This magazine base prints well in PLA. It has been tested with hundreds of drops onto hard packed dirt and has not broken. Test your prints before putting them into regular use. This design may not work with some mag wells. IMPORTANT: WEAR SAFETY GLASSES/GOGGLES WHEN CHANGING MAG BASES. The included magazine base retention plate replaces the metal one that comes with the factory 10 round magazine. It centers in the retention hole almost immediately. It also fits in the factory base as well. I designed it at the same time as the base because the metal factory ones are very hard to recenter into the retention hole once they are out. To use this retention plate, you push the spring into the magazine and then slide the retention plate under the metal lips of the magazine with the nipple facing out. This will hold the spring captive in the magazine like (see pic - it is an older version of the design but the concept is exactly the same). Then, when seating the magazine base, push the retention plate down a little and slide the magazine base on. The retention plate nipple should pop straight into the retention hole. As per the license, non-commercial use only. Unless you are CZ - in which case please use this design to improve your one.
