In a muted tone, in the photograph: I created an extended version of Jonnig's original design. Using Tinkercad, I imported the STL file, repeatedly joined it with rectangular openings to break up the original into sections, and then reassembled the parts. Slic3r indicated that it corrected the resulting .stl file when I sliced it.
