Extended run gas cap for Cat INV2000 generator

This gas cap is to allow you to attach an extended run fuel tank onto a Cat INV2000 inverter generator. The threading is made as M56x4.5. Since Fusion 360 lacks this thread in their tool, it was produced by creating the body as M56x5.5 and then reducing the Z axis down to 81.8181% The smaller hole is 7/16 for tapping out as 1/4" NPT for a quick-connect fuel fitting. As Fusion lacks threads for NPT, and this needs to be air-tight, it's best to use a real tap to add these threads after printing. You will also need to either print a TPU gasket washer to seal against the generator fuel neck, or purchase one designed for a 2 1/4" gas cap. If you have trouble maintaining a good seal against the printed cap body, you can use black or orange RTV sealant between your gasket washer and the cap. Make sure you print this out of something fuel safe, use at least PETG, or preferably Nylon.
