Remix - NERF Magazine by iliis, (extended length to ~13, ~17 or ~20 darts) Extended length of iliis's magazine design to accommodate either ~13, ~17, or ~20 darts. The Base and Slider are exactly as iliis made them. however I have included a second, slightly smaller, version of the slider (SLIDERv2) that seems to slide better. This can be printed without supports, (upright) but will be a good height test for the printer. - The bottom section of the 13 dart magazine is ~200 mm tall, and the 17 dart magazine is just under 230mm tall - Be sure not to exceed the height of your printer! You will need to Glue or Weld the 20 dart model as it is printed in two pieces. I welded the two halves of the 20 dart print using some scrap PLA (of the same color) and an old Soldering iron. I have Tested the magazine in the Nerf Retaliator Elite and the Stryfe An extended spring will be needed. (similar to the one in the picture of the original magazine) I used "High Carbon Steel Wire, #2B (Smooth) Finish, Full Hard Temper, ASTM A228, 0.037" Diameter", Spring steel (Music Wire) from amazon for the spring for the 12 dart and 16 dart magazines. The 0.037" wire was not strong enough to push all the darts out in the 20 dart magazine. To make the the spring i cut a 1/4" piece of wood to ~2-3/8" (60mm) wide, and wrapped the spring wire around it approximately 7 times (for the 13 Dart Mag), using locking pliers to force the wire to curve. Then i removed the wire (one wrap at a time) and used pliers to finalize the bends of the wire so that they stacked on top of each other. Then to make the "Z" pattern, I again used pliers, holding the curved ends one at a time, to bend the the shape.
