<p>I designed this middle extender piece so that I wouldn't have to reach as far to grab my headphones. I suspect the original design was for 4' tall cubes, my office has full ~6' tall cubes and it would be a stretch to reach headphones from the top of it. Extender should just snap in place or might need some hot glue depending on your printer tolerances. </p>
