These are mounts for a 10mm LED inside of 1 inch EMT conduit, and for 2 x photoresistors inside of 1/2 inch EMT conduit. The output of the photoresistors decreases as the distance from the LED increases. This property can be used to measure the length of a telescoping pole made from EMT conduit.
