Ladders? Pft! More like Losers! Who needs to rent a monstrosity from your local big box home improvement store? Someone like you? who doesn't need some kind of fancy pants vertical assist device just so you can get the right line separating your nice "incredible white" ceiling from your "warm stone" ceiling beams like some kind of punk? Not you. You're a different kind of person. A person who can't fit a 10 foot stepladder into your sedan that weekend and your friend with a truck or even a hatchback prius is out of town. A cheaper person. A BETTER PERSON! Make this sucker dance on the ceiling leaving fresh masking tape like Fred Astaire with Magnetic Boots that were somehow attracted to drywall. Make your local big box store rue the day they wanted to charge 25 buck for renting a ladder. A ladder, for crying out loud! Anyways, on a more serious note, this was meant to accomodate the 1.88" wide tape rolls from scotch that you can use for masking off areas. Take a little bit and roll it around the spindle at the top to get a good clean fit with the roller. Also, take note of the direction you are laying the tape, as the off center torque will unscrew it from the extension pole if it's in the wrong direction. Happy painting!
