After installing the Ender Extender Kit to my Ender 3 Pro, there are six places that the 2020 aluminum needs a cap. The Ender 3 Pro comes with two caps, so I needed to print out only four. And your base 4040 extrusions are half-covered, so I designed some 2040 covers that fit perfectly in the spaces needed. All outside edges are beveled (filleted) and cover the sharp edges of the aluminum, except for the 2040 cap, it only has three sides beveled, so it's flush up against the 2020 bar. The 2020, 2040 and the 4040 caps are threaded as M4.5. These caps work whether your aluminum is tapped or not, either way just push into place for a tight fit. I'm including a 4040 cap that I made for a different project - it has a slightly different design, and it's not threaded. FYI: This one cap (4040 X Pattern) is not compatible with my Ender 3 Pro. Check the pattern with your application. I've also added a 2040 with one channel not blocked - I use this for my top LED power wire to slip down out of sight. Look for 2040 End Cap Wire Pass.stl
