Extruded lid designed specifically for CNC 1590A+, providing a seamless fit for LiPo batteries or extra clearance for 2S 18650 configurations. To accommodate the Hammond 1590A, simply scale up your slicer settings to 93.0mm x 38.5mm. This lid offers an impressive 8.50mm extruded clearance for battery packs and 18650s, making it a perfect fit for Hammond 1590A boxes when paired with MosMax Electronics' battery sleds. Despite David's assurance that these sleds won't work in Hammond 1590A boxes, I've successfully made them work by using this lid. Alternatively, you can also opt to 3D print a custom battery sled specifically designed for 1590A boxes, available on Thingiverse as [thing:2281618](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2281618). For added security and simplicity, I personally use 1/2" grub screws on the enclosure, leaving them protruding about 1/4". This setup eliminates the need for magnets to keep the lid firmly in place, as the grub screws will catch and hold it securely. While magnets do provide a stronger hold, this method is still highly effective.
