This is a very low-tech and simple solution to difficult to remove extruder fan connectors on the Replicator 2, 2X and other printers that use a similar connector. This will help you more safely and easily remove your fan connections. The string in the picture is purely to keep them together so you don't lose them and can have them handy. Print two of this piece to form a complete set. To use this tool simply squeeze the two pieces together to increase their combined width and it will pop the connection free. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: This will print flat on your build plate and very quickly. Higher resolution will likely make them slide smoother but is definitely not necessary. Post-Printing Use the holes to attach a string to keep both sides together.
