Mounting a 30mm x 30mm x 10mm fan on Printrbot Simple's extruder prevents softened filament from causing jams during long prints. To install, replace M3 35mm screws with 40mm ones and fix the fan using M3 16mm screws. An Orion OD3010-05HB fan is connected to the E-Stop's 5V power on Printrboard, but a 12V Orion OD3010-12HB can be used with wire splicing. The current setup effectively cools filament without issues.
