Extruder Fan Swivel and switch

I had previously designed a switch plate to turn on and off the extruder fan which runs constantly so that I could use the printer LED lighting but turn off the fan when not printing (1980780). I then adapted the design to add an extruder fan swivel plate, the inspiration for which was from Kelvin's design (kelle8 2057295). I have to say that this has made feeding the filament so much easier particularly when it curls near the end of the drum. The fan cooling plate needs to have the two top holes drilled 2.5mm then tapped 3mm (you can see one of the screws in the cooling plate in one of the images). The screw used for the actual swivel mounting is M3 x 30 and I used a M3 nyloc nut http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p93093?mkwid=s3Z3fpJI3_dc&pcrid=142501343890&pkw=&pmt=&product=93093&gclid=Cj0KEQiAtqHEBRCNrdC6rYq9_oYBEiQAwhich keeps to the required tension better than a normal nut. Incidentally I have replaced all the screws on my A8 which are constantly adjusted such as the bed with Torx T10 M3 x 30 screws https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CL04VV6/ref=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1 PLEASE NOTE THAT MY FINAL DESIGN PROVIDED FOR DOWNLOAD HAS DUMPED THE HEAT SINK ALTOGETHER. The fan swivel plate now has 3 sides which funnel the air into the extruder box. The exhausting air is allowed to vent vertically on the open side. Works a treat!!
