This is my custom tool head to mate a Bondtech LGX-Lite to a Slice Mosquito Magnum and cooling fan on a MGN12H linear slide carrier. It has a side cover to hold the wiring connectors. It also has a mount for the Omron TL_Q5MC2 proximity sensor. My design is inspired by the original Voron parts, so see the documentation on their website for tips on printing, assembly and fasteners. All fasteners are M3 except for the two M2.5 screws which fasten the Mosquito to the block. I designed this for my Voron 2.4 printer with the goal of minimizing the flying weight of the tool head. So far it has been working like a dream. I have also included the Fusion 360 files so that you may modify for the types of cable drag and heat-set inserts you have available. These are the gear ratios and settings I use in the printer config file (Klipper). rotation_distance: 53.58 #Bondtech LGX Drive Gears ## Update Gear Ratio depending on your Extruder Type ## LGX Lite ratios are 10:44 on primary and 17:37 on secondary ## LGX Lite drive gear rotation distance gear_ratio: 44:10, 37:17 microsteps: 32 full_steps_per_rotation: 200 #200 for 1.8 degree, 400 for 0.9 degree
