Eye Glass Support / Extenders

Eye Glass Support / Extenders

thingiverse

I started to design an extension for my eye glass stems as they just didn't hold my glasses on tight. I found this and tried it out. I was surprised that they worked and yet didn't for all of my glasses. They worked okay with my eye glasses that I had that had a 160mm stem. But most of my glasses are only 140mm and the pointy end of the support hit my ear rather than go behind it. You only need one of these to hold you glasses tight to your head! Regardless of which one you use, for me they sat near the end of the eye glass stems with enough room to move them in or out to adjust for how tight I wanted my glasses to fit against my nose and ear. This remix has two changes from the original. The first is that they are longer. The second is the angle at which they are to the glasses. This solved my problem of the end hitting my ear with the 140mm stems. Ignore the straps on the photo. Those are from another project.
