Last month, I walked on my glasses and broke one arm. The lenses was ok, so i decided to model and print a brand new frame. It's fully functional and I use it every day. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: As there's little contact with the bed, you definitely want raft and support. You should print the center part flat on the printer bed. Therefore the front of the glasses is on the top and you can have a nice print render. The arms are printed separately to be much stronger : also flat so the layers are on the length axis. However, i included the one-piece SLT if you want to try it. I recommend ABS for it's form durability. I first used PLA, but after a while the arms bend around my head become less tight. How I Designed This As the hinges are usually the weakest part of glasses, I didn't bother to make a foldable version. However, a possible improvement would be inspired the great hinges from Ron Arad : http://www.dezeen.com/2013/04/26/its-the-first-pair-of-glasses-that-is-one-component/
