I could not find a good ICP anywhere, so I designed my own based loosely on some other designs that I have seen around the interweb. These are not a direct copy, but redesigned to look great, work great, and use common products found on Amazon. I have included a BOM, and it is currently being test printed now. I will update this as things progress. I still need to figure out how to wire it up, and get it all working in DCS. Update 2/8/22: Finished 3D printing and testing the front panel and all the buttons. Everything is working now and adjustments have been made. I did have one of the rockers not working as it was slightly too close when the front panel was sandwiched. I am going to leave them this way as just a slight amount of material was removed with a dremel. This allows for an accurate fit. So far everything is working. I suggest not using Ironing on the face and buttons as it kind of washes out the text. If you are using a resin printer this should look really good. I adjusted the Dobber to work with the 5 way that is posted in the BOM. It is a bit of a sloppy switch, but works well, just needed more clearance than it's expensive counterparts. Still left to test is the rear panel, and a stand. This will more than likely be the similar to another designers, if not what is used. Either way, I will need to look up his name and give him credit on that if used. Update 2/15/22: Okay, so I have everything printed now and even began the programming of the Teensy. I have found that the rear panel is just too shallow for any of the wiring and board. I have adjusted this 1/2" deeper. I have also made some adjustments to the component tray as it was too close to the rear panel. I have also added the tray that was modified from the original. I will post the code here for the Teensy and a wiring diagram once everything is working. I still have not received my potentiometers, so things still may change. Although I don't think I will actually use them, as I am using the winwing for the HUD symbology. We will see...... Update: 2/22/22: Uploaded the Teensy 4.0 programming file, this includes the .ino for Arduino, as well as just a simple text file for those who want to do it manually. Either way, this is still a work in progress as I do not have the pots as of yet. I may have also run out of places to solder the pots as well, not sure. As of right now, everything is working. I will need to upload a schematic for wiring, but for now just know that every switch is connected to ground and the other side is connected to it's own pin on the Teensy. The program uses the pull up resistor and everytime you press a button it grounds it out and provides the input. Computer recognizes everything and is working in DCS as well. Update: 3/17/22: I finally received the potentiometers and needed to make some adjustments to some parts to get everything to fit. Here is the changelog: Component Tray V4 Rear Panel V3 Front Panel V3 I created a new assembly and everything is working without hitting. This should be final now, but I will wait to print a new version and check it on my end first. If anyone beats me to it at this point please let me know how it went.
