This is a F-35 A with external AIM-9x card model kit. The F-35A or Conventional Take Off and Landing (CTOL) variant is used by the US Air force and Partner nations for operations from a conventional airfield. It is distinguished from the other variants with the gun bump on next to cockpit on the left hand side of the aircraft. This bump houses internal 25mm cannon. I have designed all Three variants that have some of their unique features. The last picture is a F35A next to a F-35C model. Please check out the other f-35 variant models. These card kits are great to assemble to hang from your desk, or Christmas tree, and are fun gifts for aviation enthusiast. NOTE: Crush the mouths of missile pylons before inserting them into the aircraft wings.
