F-71 Stiletto Light Fighter

To keep the theme going, this is another file from the assets hosted on the CIC from the Privateer game, the Confederation Stiletto. You'll fight these if the Confed is mad at you, and it takes some doing to deal with these fiendishly quick little things. Missiles and forcing head-to-heads are what worked best for me, although you'll want to upgrade your shields since they can dish it out better than they can take it. Fortunately, unless you're going the full pirate lifestyle, you'll much more commonly encounter these flying patrol or fighting the good fight against pirates, Retros, or the Kilrathi. Another presupported fighter, I've gotten this to print successfully at my usual 1/500-1/600 scale. I used Blender to add some displacement and thicken the model a bit as the wings and the satbilizers were both highly problematic as they were. Much better results after thickening, although I would still urge caution with the stabilizers. No ownership of this model is claimed or implied.
