The Renault R26 was the car that the Anglo-French team put into competition for the 2006 season. Its start was spectacular, winning several races Fernando Alonso, and even Giancarllo Fisichella tasted victory. It was a fast car, which incorporated a mechanical device that stabilized the suspension when attacking the kerbs. The so-called "Mass-Dumper", which was banned mid-season due to complaints from rival teams. This device was installed inside the nose of the car! Even so, Fernando knew how to manage the advantage his consistency on the podium was the key to his success in taking his second F1 Drivers' World Championship title. Renault also revalidated as constructors' champion, thus closing the Spaniard's first stint with the team. The model is an exact replica of the car's nose together with its characteristic front wing. A custom piece is included where to fit it once assembled to place it in your display. All models in the collection share this custom display for each of them. It's designed and intended for 1:8 scale, but you'll be able to adjust it to your needs. Even with some skill, who knows if one day you'll be able to have your own F1 wing - full scale!
