F150 body extras for WlToys 12428

This is a set of parts to install this common and cheap F150 body shell on a Wltoys 12428. As the wheelbase is different you need to cut the wheelarches of the body and install the ones provided. You need to elevate the rollcage as the body is taller so I made a couple of frame spacers to install the rollcage in a higher position. To install the frame spacers you need to screw 4x M2.5x15 screws in the place where they hold the rollcage to the chassis and cut their heads. Then you will need 4x M2.5x25mm nylon hex spacers, screw them in the rollcage cut-head screws and align them with the hex holes of the frame-spacers. I rounded the base of the nylon spacers so they fit in the chassis holes as the rollcage does. You need to modify the rear part of the rollcage, deleteing the sparewheel mount and cutting the rear section so you put the resulting two parts together through the lateral screws. I made a cockpit that can hold the torso of a 1/12 figure wich, in the bottom of the driver's seat, has a little box for electronics (body lights module in my case). Check that I made LEFT side parts so you need to mirror the RIGHT side ones. This installation requires a bit of effort but it's worth it.
