This accepts 1/2" aluminum channel. I drilled my own holes for the motor to mount directly to the aluminum so it can be used as a heat sink. This allows you to uses any length of channel you want. Only thing not shown in the pics is a m3x16mm bold and lock nut through the center to secure the boom. I printed with 5 outer layers and it made it tight.
