F550 Wall Mount Reinforced

F550 Wall Mount Reinforced

The design made by d2000 for some reason kept breaking on me on the upper screw mount tab. I printed it with more solid beginning layers to help reinforce that part of the mount and I thought that worked, but eventually I woke up to find my drone on the floor again. Not wanting this to happen a 3rd time, I remixed the design and added some supports where it is needed most. Now even if I put my drone on the wall with the battery pack...it still has no problems supporting the weight (note that my screws go into studs). I used common drywall screws with a small flat washer. Another note...I had to scale the 'entire' print by 108.8% (or basically set uniform scaling to be on and then changed the Z height to 190.4mm vs the original 175mm). I'm not sure if the original posters F550 used different legs (height) than mine, but scaling it (AND the end stop) to the new height fits my F550 perfectly...right to the edge of the end stop. This remix is using the original height so you will have to decide if you need to rescale it or not before slicing your print. I printed the original one on an Ender 3. But the modified version (this one) I printed on an Ender 5 S1.
