F608Z Flat Idler Pulley

What it's for: Converts two F608Z bearings to a GT2 6mm belt flat pulley that can handle a sh** lo... "alot" of non radial forces (due to belt misalignment or whatever) compared to small aluminium idler using tiny bearings. Should also be pretty reliable under normal radial load. Simple thing I use for my own printer... Instructions: This solution requires that the bearings are fixed/pushed against eachother using nylocs. In other words, it doesn't lock in/hold the two bearings together. You may be able to glue pieces in question... of option 1A and 2B together (see below) to join the bearings, but that's not how I intended it. The bearings would probably separate easily without any significant stress anyways... Four options are available: 1A) End cap piece is glued together with the corresponding piece on the opposite side of the bearing flange. 1B) End cap isn't used and the piece that fits over the bearing flange is glued directly onto the bearing using a thin line of glue around the flange. 2A) Same as 1A but lets the belt run directly on the bearings. 2B) Same as 1B but lets the belt run directly on the bearings. This option is what I use... Careful not to get glue in the bearings... - Don't run that smoothly afterwards :-) Print Settings Printer: Duplicator i3 Ultra Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm max Infill: 100% How I Designed This MacGyver helped me...
