This is a prototype for a livable small (10 sq.meters) house made entirely with means of digital fabrication. Instructions 12002400 plywood update In fabricated and assembled version the fins were cut out of plywood sheets with size of 15003000 mm. However, it looks like a challenge to source such sheets outside of Russia, more other, not all fab labs/maker spaces/CNC shops have a router with a bed this big, so.. I added alternative layout of fin's parts which are to be fit in international standard 12202440 plywood sheet. The rest is the same, for each fin you have to cut all parts from Layer_A and Layer_B Construction The building frame consist out of 10 same 'fins' connected with 'connectors'. Each fin is two layered and assembled out of 9 parts (5+4). Layers are bolted together with M8 bolts. Assembled fins are joined together in sections with "short" connectors. The sections are joined together with long connectors. Fabrication with large bed CNC router: Frame only material is 18mm thick good quality plywood in sheets of 15003000 mm. For each fin you should cut two plywood sheets: FRAME_A and FRAME_B, for completing the frame you have to cut parts from "small parts.dxf" file. All the smaal parts are meant to be put into gaps between 'large' parts, so the whole frame will take only 20 sheets of plywood (which is still a lot, but it's a house!!) Assembling It is possible to assemble the whole thing with only four hands, but it will take awhile. 4-6 people is good team. All the tools required are mallets and 13mm wrenches.
