My latest design centers around a core xy model featuring a robust z-axis with double the standard z-resolution, supported by a GT2 belt system. The STL files are joined and BOM data will be available soon. The current alpha version is running smoothly with an improved cantilever z-axis. Next up: printing and assembling the latest z-version! Update incoming! By November 15th, I've added endstops on the support for the z-axis. Be sure to use a z-rod that measures exactly 340mm in length. Further updates include optimizing three distinct parts - two of which support the stepper motor - ensuring identical clamps similar to those found on the x and y axes. An additional gap has been introduced for easier endstop alignment. By December 5th, the final version of the z-axis has taken shape with enhanced double resolution and a more streamlined system employing just one stepper motor. P.S.
