We have been making and wearing cloth face masks using the design on this Instructables project page: https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Cloth-Face-Mask/ We have found them to be reasonably easy to make and they work very well for us. I have one minor issue, related to my head size more than anything else. Each end of the mask has a 'channel' for elastic loops that you loop behind your ears. With my large size head and mask, I find the ends bunch up and gap away from my head. I designed this thing to fit into that channel, with holes on either end to attach the elastic. The ends of the mask lay flat against my cheeks, and the elastic loop is wide enough that the mask sags much less than it did before. I designed this in OpenSCAD, with parameters for length and thickness, so it should be simple to modify it for smaller masks. Printer: any Filament: any Settings: I print these at .2mm, with 5 perimeters and no infill. It takes less time to simply print them as a solid bar, and I think they're sturdier this way as well. NOTE: If you print these in PLA, remember PLA is not tolerant of high temperatures. Leaving these in your car on a summer day, or washing them in industrial machines or using a hot tumble dryer could result in sub-optimal performance of the bars.
