I don't know if this is a localized issue but the extruder motor gets very hot on my unit so I modeled a 40mm fan mount to cool it. Use a m3x6 screw to mount it to the extruder and 2 m3x20 nuts and bolts to mount the fan to the bracket. I wired it in parallel to the fan built in to cool the extruder.
