FabScan Calibration Stand with Plate
thingiverse
This thing is connected to the FabScanPi 3D scanner project by Mario Lukas (check out https://www.fabscanpi.org). To get this scanner working correctly, you have to calibrate it with a printed chessboard design. For this, you will need a calibration stand like the one I built. It's basically Mario's original holder from https://github.com/mariolukas/FabScan-Case/tree/master/calibration, but with an added full plate to hold the calibration sheet. Simply stick the paper sheet directly onto the PLA surface of the plate. I used regular wood glue and it worked perfectly. Have a great time!
